This I realize.

But that and $6 might get me a coffee at Starbucks.

And I don't want Starbucks coffe.

I want my tower braces. Not an aoplogy. Or an excuse. 8 weeks is ridiculous and very little in the way of feedback makes it much worse.

Sorry if that comes across as harsh but it has been way too long.

F***** A!

I mean I didn't want to be the one to say that. I mean yeah I know you're sorry and all, but I WANT MY THINGS! That will be better than an apology.

I'm finished using Shobros, and I suggest others do the same. I've been waiting 3 weeks for my order, and I can't get a reply by email or PM. I'm going have to give them a call, but it sounds like that doesn't work from what I've been reading.

I don't care about excuses or apologies. For you guys that defend Brian and his character, good luck waiting for your parts. As for me, I want my money back if I'm going to have to wait 2 or more months.

Brian won't get any sympathy from me. Yes, it is unfortunate that he has all these problems, but it doesn't change the fact that he has a responsibility to his customers.

Brian's problems have become our problems, and that's bad business.

Agreed! but when you look at it from my point of view. we either wait for our parts to get here or we wait for a refund, :)nut: ) so what does it matter

It the principal. If no one tried to do anything about this and just waited for their parts, none of us would get our parts or our money.

As frothed up as I am, I still want my tower braces.

If I went to the post office today and they were there I'd be ecstatic.

And forgiving.

But I really want my stuff.

I don't think this is latter day SHOShop stuff. That was simply a futzed up operation. They had their heads up somewhere there was no sun shining.

I agree this is different. But I still want my stuff. I truly want my wife off my back about this.

If any of you guys used paypal to pay for your parts, I would suggest filing a claim at the resolution center. They need to be filed within 45 days of your payment. I don't know if it will be any faster than waiting for Brian to get his head out of his ass, but at the very least you can get your money back within about 2 months or more of payment if things aren't resolved through the resolution center. That's if I understand it correctly.

How it works is, you file a claim within 45 days. Paypal gives you and the seller 20 days to resolve the dispute after a claim is made. If the dispute isn't resolved in 20 days (you haven't been refunded or given your parts), then paypal will investigate, and hopefully get your money back.

I'm going to wait till it gets closer to 45 days before filing a claim myself. I really hope the parts just show up soon.

Make a claim (PayPal resolution center). PayPal will investigate the matter and try to get both sides of the "story". If PP is unable to contact the seller period, they will automatically award the claim in your favor. And yes, you do have to make the claim/dispute within 45 days of payment. This is the safest way out because after that certain time period, you will be out your parts and money with no realistic way to retrieve any results.
#1 - Claim #2 - Progress to a dispute immdeiately. #3 - Attempt to retrieve funds through PP. (let PP try to contact ShoBros with no results) #4 - Once and if (works always unless the 45 days is up) you get your money back... save it until either SHOBROS smartens up or find somewhere else to purchase from. The main thing is GET YOUR MONEY BACK FIRST!!

I really think all you kids need to get your heads out of your ***** and buy a new car. Owning a car where most parts are obsolete and hard to come by makes the few vendors we have very important. So all the n00bs here need to stop ******** and pull their own heads out of their *****. Only mode of transportation? Don't modify it. Waiting on a part to fix it? Buy a car where more parts are available.

And thanks for the lesson on paypal there Sally. It has been around such a short time that no one really know how it works.

Listen sunshine. I'm no kid. I'll be 52 in 2 days. And I've had my car since new in '95. I like it. It suits me and I'll be arsed if I'm going to listen to some twit (and you surely come across as a pompous twit) tell me I shouldn't be trying to upgrade it or that I should scrap it and spend even more money on something I like way less. I already did that on my wife's Maxima.

If something like the tower braces I ordered are shown as available, it means I should be able to get them. I'm not asking for some OEM piece, for crying out loud I got a Quaife put in less than 3 weeks ago.

For me the issue is the total dead zone like silence that emanates from SHOBros. It is deafening. Whoever GoofSHO is he told me over two weeks ago he had received my tower braces by mistake at his address and that he would be sending them out straight away. Over 2 weeks pass and no tower braces and no correspondence from SHOBros.

I would hate to see them go belly up. And I'm willing to forgive and forget. But 45 days has long passed for me. We are moving in on 9 weeks now. And GoofSHO even assured me (3 weeks ago) he was shipping them.

But not. SFA. Zip. Zilch. Nada.

It for sure is a crock of ***** matter and it stinketh.

A possible explanation is that the supplier shipped a quantity order to Brian instead of drop-shipping to the customers.

That's potentially a big hit in shipping costs.

Just a thought.

Or it could just be a damn lie to buy him time.

I feel for these guys. This is a bunch of crap. I will sit here on SHOforum and bash him until he decides to show up and defend HIMSELF. (whenever appropriate in another topic) Yeah he's got a lot of leghumpers here, but no one. and I mean no one, not even his wife, should be coming on here to defend the matter when he himself got himself into. If he can't handle the store and a real life, then just let someone else take over. End of story. His reputation is obviously tarnished. I myself will never go to him, and I really wouldn't recommend anyone else to.

I filed to dispute and got my money back. I really really empathize the other members who have no other alternative but to wait for this guy to either give them money back (when HE wants to) or wait for a rare parts. Mine were just plugs and wires and yeah could get them from another place no problem. which is what I wound up doing. I really hope you do get yours parts soon though. There's a reason you ordered them: You DESERVE them.

Good luck fellas. I'm officially out this.

A potentially big hit that he could avoid were he to reply to my inquiries. I'd gladly pay to get it here. At this point I wouldn't quibble over $50.

But if he isn't going to respond to honest, straight forward questions, I should care?
