SHOBROSGarage Problems

First of all, this is not personal nor is it intended to be. As a US Marine for 25 years, I have learned right is right and wrong is wrong. The way SHOBROGarage has handled its business practices is wrong. I will not be a part of it. The below link is provided for your viewing. This reminds me of the v-8 SHO cam issues, a low number of documented cases, but how many cases "disputed claims" have been settled through disputes or have not been disclosed.

Check out SHOBROSGarage link http://www.shobrosgarage.com/reviews.php. Two more SHO customers claimed Brian is doing shady business. I know there two sides to every story, but if Brian doesn't tell me his side then he must not have a side or he doesn't want me to know his side. He still refuses to conduct business with me except to keep my money and not respond to any emails or phone calls.

I will not stand by carelessly and let other SHO owner gamble unkowningly on whether or not they will get their products or be rip off. SHO owners have a need and a right to know what type of business practices SHOBOSGarage are conducting.

As a state employee I know I have an option to contact my State Attorney General, SHOBROSGarage's State Attorney's Office, and the BBB.

If I have written this email without merit, I would embrace any information that disproves what I have seen and not heard.

I will say that Brian has always refuned my money when asked, usually within 3 days of me sending a PM or e-mail, I have received the money. The few things I did order from Sho Bros. awhile back I had a good experiance with them. And as I just got refunded for the a-pillar GB I don't really feel like I got ripped off or taken for a ride. It is not an easy task trying to get parts made for these cars. Stuff happens, look at the NE sho SS brake lines GB, some people (Such as myself) got their lines in the spring of 07' others waited for months. Things happen, it really isn't anyone's fault. These are the things we deal with for trying to modify cars that don't have 50 diffrent aftermarket companys making parts for them.

One thing to consider is that a Group Buy is slightly different than a normal store purchase - the funds are usually transferred up front for development or locked in to get the lower pricing. I'm NOT saying that's what happened here or stating delays are acceptable, etc. (no opinion here), but that the GB may have different conditions than the normal purchases - this is something Brian may want to address specifically here.

He HAS mentioned the GB will be moving forward. An updated timetable / list of folks involved / status of the buy may be in order.

Good luck folks & thanks for keeping this civil here online.

I have to agree with you. Even thought his time has been quite limited (working O/T and all) he appears to be responding fairly well to most inquiries. I have no doubt he is really trying to put himself and shobros back on track. I am waiting for the final result of the A-pillar GB. I will given him A+ for effort and C- for communication ( improving lately). I am planning on ordering from SHOBROS in a very near future. I see no problem getting a refund from SHOBROS. :thumb:

PS: Brian keep up the good work. The light at the end of the tunnel appears near (I hope).

Brian, did you got my PM regarding TCCA A-pillar GB? They are expecting a response. Are you going to be able to pull it off by then? Let me know what to tell them.
