On February 7,2003 I ordered the V8 aluminumized steel exhaust from SHO Shop. After 5 weeks, and more than four phone calls I hae not received the complete kit. Only after I prompted them, did they send the exhaust piping; I only requested them as assurance that I would eventually get something as I had waited for three weeks with out any sign of their commitment to my order.

The source of my anger is that Vadim had assured me at the time of the order that the kit would arrive with the next week. The reason I need the exhaust so urgently was that a week prior I had been rear ended and in need of a muffler and had a leak in the pipe causing this incessant droning within the vehicle. But I still don't have the mufflers, as they are on factory back order from Edelbrock as I was told, and a full month has elapsed since I was to have them.

I understand the difficult in working in an industry when many changes occurs making new parts necessary and others obsolete, but it seems as though my oder to SHO Shop has not been a priority. On the phone, my calls have not been returned nor have I been treated in a matter that I deem to be fair business practice. It would seem that in order to retain good customer relations, the shop would find a way to complete my order, via another vendor of the mufflers, equitable replacements, etc.

I would have liked to have continued my patronization of SHO Shop, but I have been very disappointed as far. Well perhaps this is an isolated incidence or I have been too harsh, but still I am very disappointed...

I don't understand the SHO Shop either. I used to live nearby and could drop in anytime. Vadim and Tom really are good guys and know their stuff. They do appear to always have a big workload, so I truly don't understand why they don't just give a realistic time for parts or service.
It's not just mail order time estimates that are off. Any time I went in there to have something done, if they said "sure, we can do that in an hour", it would always be 3-5 hours. I would've respected them more if they said, "we can't get to that for a few hours". Same thing with the orders...if they said "we can get that out to you in a month", at least you'd know what you were getting in to. Instead, they assure you you'll have it in a few days and ultimately end up ******* off the customer...

I just don't understand....

It is a lack of organization.

My pulleys took longer than I was told also, and that was after I had to return the bad ones they sent me.

But you are right, they should be a little bit more realistic when they tell people things.

Sad to say, I don't think I could recommend them either.
