sho repair manual???

does anyone know of a good repair manual made by haynes or chiltons or so on that includes the sho motor and trans. i'm looking to do a tranni swap and replace the clutch while i'm in there but i can't find a manual detailing the project

buy an 89-95 Taurus/Sable Shop manual. it's the size of a phone book and will tell you way more than a haynes or chiltons. Haynes will tell you to do some things but with a lot of stuff the section has to wording like "*** is above the ability of most do it yourselfers so just let a professional do it" while a shop manual will tell you how to do stuff you probably don't have the equipment to do, unless you own an arbor press and other very expensive specialty machinery.

There is no SHO Haynes. I'd suggest buying a Chiltons as well as there is some good info in there.

Plenny of Ford manuals on ebay , thats your best bet. These are the most complete manuals.

Better than the manual for clutch and transmission is the clutch and transmission video from www.shonutperformance.com . Much more detailed than Ford manual for that project, and lots of hints learned by doing. Worth every penny.

The Chiltons and Haynes are not very helpful on the SHO - as others have said, you need to get the Ford service manual.
