Hi all,

Im currently on the lookout for brake assemblies and mountings on SHO's years 90 and 91. I want to upgrade my front disc brakes and convert my rear drums on my 91 SLO wagon (GL) to the SHO brake setup. I need some kind of parts list of everything I'll need to get from the SHO to put onto my SLO. I plan on buying aftermarket rotors and pads.

Thanks for any help!

I've got a complete set of front SHO Discs, calipers, pads, and knuckles that I just pulled off my car in order to upgrade to the PBR 12" setup. It is from a '92, which is identical to the 90 and 91 cars in terms of front end hardware.

If you are going to the trouble of modifying the car, I would recommend getting a set of 94/95 knuckles, and the '96 SHO brake upgrade. It uses an 11.6" rotor and is much less prone to fade and warping.

If you decide to go with the 90-93 style brakes, shoot me a PM and I'd be happy to sell you my old stuff. Its just going to the landfill otherwise!

Im intrested in your front brake setup. If I get your disc assembly for the fronts, Id like to have something equal in the rears. I could swap my current disc setup from the front and transfer it to the rears, but then it wouldnt be equal if I put your SHO assembly up front. I beleive they are different in some ways. Any solutions to this?

Ok, after a little more thought, I've decided that I want to get the brake setup off a 96 or higher taurus so I could be able to use the bigger brakes for all four's as Chris mentioned.
According to Chris, I would need the knuckles off a 94/95 SHO.
What else do I need?

i have a complete set that will help you in upgrading your car.....

complete set of 95 knuckles (rotors, calipers, pads, spindles) ready to bolt on...this is the first step you need to do in order to upgrade to the 96+ brakes.

complete set for the rear....(spindles, rotors, pads, calipers, brake lines, proportioning valve)

le me know if you are interested....shipping will be high since the each set of weights almots 100 lbs....since you live in md it would be allot cheaper to pick them up....in that case i can help you installed them here...
