I have been looking for a left rear strut for my 1996 SHO and have heard that 1996 is different than 1997 & 1998. Has anyone any info about this?

It was my understanding that they were the same. I have a pair of rears complete with springs and ready to install if you cannot come up with what you need elsewhere.

That was my understanding as well until someone in used parts looked it up. I still am sure Ford would not make different parts for different years. Yes how much and can you ship them and how can we complete this deal? John

I've got a right rear brand new in my basement. Not sure why there's a left and right. It an F8 part number but my car was a '97. I've never heard or seen anything saying there was a difference between the years.
