Sarc switch

Did you splice the wire? what you have to do is splice the wire and run a two wire thing to your switch. If you do it correctly when you press the switch it will get you in hard mode and when you let go it will come back to a sarc mode after like 5 seconds.

Do not do this...
It will inable the variable steering to work as its supposed to.

?? please explain, the rear springs are already installed and sarc actuators are unhooked and everything else still functions normally. what are you talking about with the steering??

actually i'm talking about unpluging the actuators and leaving the sensors alone. so the sarc module with think it's still doing something, but the struts won't change states.

I took mine off. They were rattling too much. But in the front this is where the brake hose mounts.

Based on some testing done for the Gen 3 swap into my '91, the only inputs the SARC box needs for the Servotronic steering are (a) battery + (b) ignition + and (c) vehicle speed. And the '99 cars had the SARC box and wiring but no SARC struts.

If I may; How did you remove the rear sensors from the strut? I am finally around to installing my suspension.

I didn't take the sensor off. I probably meant I just unplugged them. Bit too distant in the past but I know I ran for the ~200k on the OE rear struts.
