As I found out the SHO has a long pan and the offset head . This caused me alot of problems getting the engine to fit the body. The fox body Mustang steering rack is not too far forward. I wish I had found this link earlier.
The man had to move the steering rack forward for clearance. As all know this can cause steering problem. He built a method to put the tie rod ends back into the proper location.
Reason I post this is so other maybe putting the SHO motor in something else can learn and help them. About half way down on page. Page will take a little bit to load up. It is well documented with pictures. Maurice
