Rhino mufflers, where to buy?

well i need to get some mufflers within the next week. i'm buying them for my dad for his b-day and its saturday. i was set on flowmaster 50 series but now i'm thiking maybe the rhinos would be better. he wants loud when he gets on it but somewhat quiet while driving around. i'm so lost on what to get. anybody want to help a lost shodude? thumb

I don't know if you can get them anymore.
Mine rusted out and the shop replaced them with 'Flo-Pros.'
They sound awesome and are all stainless construction, which I don't believe the Rhinos were.
Very quiet at cruising speeds but they scream and roar when you want them to.

The bullets are nice. I have them and they're not loud but they do open up when you get on it. My friend has Bassani on his cobra and they're semi quite and scream when he hammers it.

Hey ohioshodude, if you do go with the flowmaster 50's, let me know what you think of them. I also am planning to use these as soon as my shop can get me in. I want it quiet at idle and cruise and just a little noise when I step on it.

In the correct size (which I believe is 2 1/4" offset/offset), Flowmaster has the aluminized mufflers (part 942453) and the stainless steel (part 842453). Prices range from about $75 - $85 for alum to about $89 - $99 for stainless. The Flowmasters are a little shorter than stock so a little fabrication is necessary.

I had the Rhinos and was happy with them while I lived in Ca. but since moving to PA, they're not a good choice as they rusted out. I don't believe they're even available anymore as the website is gone. I went with the Bullets and am very happy with them. You can order from Don Mallinson @ http://www.dccarcare.com/ Don's a great guy to deal with the the muffs are very reasonable for polished Stainless Steel...

I've had my Silver Bullets on for 5 years now and not a sign of rust. 18 months ago I had the OEM tips put back on and at that time there was no sign of internal corrosion.

sure, no problem. i'm gona go with the flowmaster Delta flow 40 series. he is having the mufflers only replaced so it should be more quite then a free flowing 40 with the 3rd cat and resonator still in there. i hoping they are not tooo loud. but they are 89 each from jegs (just down the street) and are stainless steel. they should be installed today hopefully so i'll get back with you on sound!
