So I have a 2010 sho with stock hid headlights. One of the bulbs burnt out so I went to the dealer, and naturally, the dealer wanted an obscene amount of money to replace both bulbs. So I said screw that, and bought new oem bulbs from hidconcept for less than half the price compared to what the dealer wanted. I assumed the process for replacing the bulbs themselves would be the same as a normal halogen bulb, but I seem to have been mistaken. Would anyone know how to remove the actual hid bulb from the housing or know of a place to find the process since the standard turn ccw doesn't work?

Anyone else have this issue on their Taurus or Taurus SHO? My 2010 SHO was in an accident a few years back, come to find out that on the driverside the original is a 1/8 turn pull out of the assy. and the passenger side which was smashed in the accident now has the two T10 torx screws with bracket. How do you change the bulb on the passenger side? Take bumper off remove headlamp assy. ?

I think you got an aftermarket asembly?? 2017 unit shows the turn and remove as you describe with the oem part. I couldn't look up an 18 at the moment.

Do what you have to do to disassemble it.

I know it's several years later. Lol. But I found out my HID lights on my 11 SHO are the 2 screw type also. . Were you able to find the replacement bulbs that uses those two screws?
Or if there's anyone who knows where I could locate 2 replacement (screw in type ) HID bulbs that will fit the 10-12 SHO style headlights? that would be AWESOME!
