Does anyone know where to get a repair manual, like the Haynes for the Gen III SHO's. All that I can find are the Taurus 96-99 and SHO's Gen I&II. Nothing for Gen III.

Any ideas? Sam's 98 SHO Page

Thanks

Nevermind, I found it myself!! Took me a total of 3 hrs from start to now, but darnit, I found it. Haynes, doesn't make one but Chilton's does. AutoZone only carries Haynes, Pepboys carries Haynes, but O'Reily AutoParts carries only Chilton's and the part # is 26702. It is 96-99 Ford Taurus & Sable including the SHO.

Looks like I'll getting one tommorow morning to try to replace the door sensor or whatever to fix the doom light not going off and the door ajar light staying on!!

Couple of nites ago I bought a cd on Ebay, was told it covers the SHO will let you know when I get it. I also ordered a Chiltons' manual, it does cover some of the 3.4 liter stuff, but is by no means a good manual.
You can get a Helms "factory shop manual" for $130.00 at your local dealer, but I do have a cd burner.... wink

Mac may be right, but we can take a looksy.
Am non too sure about the quality of this disc either, it was only $20.00 and the Helms' version is over $1000.00.

Guys, PLEASE take posts like this private or through email. I'm not a moderator here, but last time someone brought up burning CDs, Greg jumped in real fast.
Remember, it's his butt in a blender since he owns this site. Let's keep it legal in here!

I believe that there is no talking of Burning the CD... he just said "He had a Burner". No violation there.... Though I believe ppl will in this forum will keep all Burning of CD's off list off list. (Or I will have to lay the smack down on them) shoot

Besides he said he purchased it off E-Bay, this may hve been leftover from Ford shop closing down. thumbs_u

This is all together my fault, I mis-typed in that post. What I meant to say was I may to be a cd returner, meaning that if it was not right I would send the cd back.
In NO way would I EVER copy a copywritten cd, that would be illegal, immoral and just plain wrong!
I am ever so sorry that you took my words the wrong way, and further promise that I will never again speak of anything that may be misconstrued as forbidden, illegal or against the standards upon which this nation was founded.
