im doing it.....
i have the following
t3 exhaust inlet ******
36lb accell injectors
turbonetics super 60 turbo(maybe) debating on gt35r
12 ft of aluminum 2.5 straight piping
couplers
y-pipe
lpm( needs retune depending how much boost i want to run...do you think 7 psi would be decent considering i wont have quaife? and it is a stock 3.0 with 69k miles fresh first 60k......)
any other suggestions? tial wastegate and bov?
woiuld it be better to spend the money on a tweecer and wideband? i really want to run max 7-8 psi because i dont want to break anything.

I have a parts list just like this becasue I will be doing this just not in the near future.

are you gonna run an internally gated turbo or externally. I dont know how big/small the one you listed are but I think a t3/t4 hybrid is a good size for remote mount setup
You forgot about how you are gonna get the oil back to the engine, so you will need an electrical oil pump. I did some reseach on the internet. I like the tilton differential pump, you can find a used tilton oil pump for about 100-150 on ebay.(rarely listed though). I think strings1732 is running a tilton oil pump (I think) maybe he will chime in.
oil lines to run the car length twice (to turbo and back)
vacuum lines
plus some more stuff i can't think of right now.....long day at work:nut:
edit:
fuel pump (190l/hr)(255)-
80 lincon maf or 90 lighting (there only like 75 bucks)
shonut FPR
reinforced diff atleast but quaife FTW!!!

strings1732 would be able to answer alot of your questions because he has one!!!

It's a turbo with more piping, oil lines and a pump. It's really not difficult.

DUMP the LPM.

ditch the 2.5 inch charge piping and get 2 inch... Trust me on this one. Two inch is hard enough to fill in my remote setup. 2.5 would be overkill and add a ton of lag.

You are missing a turbo oil pump as well. The pump will be used to drain the turbo and the motor will feed the turbo with oil. Otherwise you will have oil leak past your seals in the turbo. You will need stainless oil lines that go from the motor to the turbo and some sort of return line that goes from the turbo to the pump, and then back to the motor. I use the tilton Differential pump for my oil return pump. It's the best one on the market(highest flowing, lightest weight) that I can find for under 500 dollars. In fact, it's the best one I have found without having a custom built one that would cost a small fortune.

Get the tweecer and the wideband. Ditch the LPM.

Get a 255 lph fuel pump and SHOnut's Adj. FPR.

I'm using an 80mm Lincoln MAF but I will soon go to a lightning 80mm. the lincoln would work for your setup I think.

The turbo you listed(super60) is quite large and will generate tons of lag(especially when teamed up with 2.5 inch charge piping.) I run a mid size t3/t4 and it does good. I'm debating on going ot a larger t3/t4, but I will stay with a t3/t4. A T4 will not boost near as quickly on a remote mounted setup on this car. At most, I would go with the 60-1 HI-FI, but Like I said that's going to add lag. The GT35R would be similar to a larger t3/t4. I'm not very familiar with Garrett turbos so I do not know how rapidly it will spool. However I do feel it's a better candidate than the 60-1 (non HI-FI).

I'm internally wastegated. Internal works just fine. I'm going to leave mine internally gated for now as it seems to be doing fine and I like the way it works. But external may be a better way to go.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask, or PM me. I'll do what I can to help you out!

thankyou guys.......another question is how low to the ground the turbo is going to be.....i was thinking of cutting the spare tire bowl out and riviting or welding an access panel and stuff....but if there is ample room which it dosent look so bad i wont.
are you running 36lb/hr or 44, 48......and yeahi know tweecer/wideband is the way to go but i just found out that my lease is up and i owe 2 months rent....so i cant even afford to get the turbonetics anyway let alone 750 more for wideband and tweecer......
what boost are you running on your remote set up strings?

i have two garrett t3 tiny saab 9000 turbos, maybe ill use two of those haha

Mine is pretty low, but no lower than my piping and in fact the way I have it mounted raised it higher than most of my charge piping. Look into one of these in the correct size for your exhaust to mount the turbo higher. I have one of these mounted around the exhaust about 2-6 inches before the turbo and have a strap from it to my unibody frame rail.

I have no exhaust after the turbo yet, but I will soon. I will be running a pipe straight off of the turbo(towards the passenger side of the car) and make a 90*(roughly) bend back towards the bumper. then I will add some sort of straight through muffler(like the dynomax bullets, basically a cherry bomb/glasspack/resonator). That will have a hanger on it and hang from the stock passenger side rear exhaust hanger. That will be enough to quiet the car down quite a bit and on top of that it will only take 3 minutes to remove when I get to the track(v-band ******).

I'm running 44 lb/hr accel injectors with the tweecer and no wideband. I will be getting a wideband soon though. Before the motor broke, I was running upwards of 15 psi on the stock pistons. The motor did not break from the turbo or too much boost. My cam broke and the turbo then melted pistons because of the cam. When all is said and done, and the motor is broken in, I might be running upwards of 25-30 psi. Most likely I will not go above 20-22, but who knows.

The numbers in my signature,(358 WHP, 328 WTQ) is at 11 psi. So that will give you an idea of what a remote turbo SHO is capable of.

About the SAAB turbos, What are the a/r's on them? How small are they? I would not run them if they are really small. I blew my first turbo up because I overspun it. Mine was a small t3 out of a turbo lebaron and I overspun it quickly. That is why I went with the t3/t4. I would not go with anything smaller than what I have and not anything larger than the 60-1 HI-FI. Even with both of them behind the motor, you're just asking for trouble. It'll spool crazy fast, but then you run into a problem like I had with my first turbo; It spooled so quickly, the wastegate slapped open before my motor saw hardly any boost. then the wastgate would stay open and I couldn't hit full boost because of all my charge piping. It's because of this reason that I re-did my vacuum lines, bought a new turbo and added my manual boost controller.

My turbo is a 60 trim t3/t4 hybrid
