What is it used for? Do relays gradualy go bad or quit all together? My starting problems have come back and when it won't start that relay is clicking, which I intially thought was the selanoid. Also, I can tell when its not going to start cause it sounds like the fuel pump is getting half the juice its used too and also the radio doesn't even come on. After I push start it to get it going it starts fine through the rest of the day. I've checked the battery and all connections. Is that relay the problem?

And where do you think the barometric pressure sensor is located? The integrated relay module (IRM) or constant control relay module (CCRM) is the black box located under the driver side of the plastic cover above the radiator. That is the location of the fuel pump relay.

The barometric pressure sensor is located near the upper center of the firewall. A relay looking thing near it is a crash sensor.

If your fuel pump sounds weak and the voltage from the battery and the CCRM is at full potential, then maybe the fuel pump is weak. Check 'em.

Scott, I was thinking the barometric sensor was right were you described it to be. Theres the red cap ABS port to the left. The relay to the right of the baro sensor is the one thats clicking, it comes off the bracket when pulled down and disconnects fairly easy, and then theres a little black box that is bolted to the firewall to the right of that. The fuel pump isn't even a year old. When I said it sounded like it wasn't getting full power, thats not constant, usually only in the morning and at the same time theres no juice gettin to the radio. How might I check the CCRM?

Chris, the battery terminals and grounds(rear of intake and passenger inner fender, any more?) have been checked and cleaned.

not making much sense of this, but that "red cap ABS port" is actually the high side line for the A/C.

half-way there, I think.
I know which one you are talking about - unfortunatly I do not know what it does.

Chris - you remember that relay I pulled off that 92' at Action (Sand Creek) right next the baro sensor I grabbed - that's the one he is talking about.

One thing I have noticed is the solenoid moves around in the houseing a little. Might this have some affect on it not starting?
