Start by getting the car up on jackstands (don't even think about getting under that car with just a floor jack supporting it!). Then drain the oil and remove the y-pipe and then unbolt the oil pan.

Place the jackstands on the subframe opposite the wheels. The day/night before start soaking the manifold studs with PB Blaster. You will need an impact wrench to get these off probably without breaking them, go just a little at a time in one direction then go back. Don't try to get the studs off in one try. Use plenty of the Blaster stuff. Works great.

Buy a tube of the black silicone for the oil pan. Get some new oil pan end gaskets too.

Okay...i searched...but where can I located the o2 sensor connections? I am currently under the car with a puzzled look on my face. Also, the Y-pipe is connected WAY up past the oil pan, how do I get to those bolts without taking off the front bar that is below it?!

The O2 sensors are in the two sides of the y-pipe. Follow the wires to the connectors -- one is in front of the motor just above the starter (should be taped/tie-wrapped to the main battery wires), and the other is on top of the tranny, right by the two lines to the PS cooler.

Next you need to separate the Y-pipe from the catback at the ****** in front of the flex pipe. Then you'll need a set of long extensions to reach the nuts on the exh. manifolds. I like to use enough extensions so I can put a piece of pipe over the end of the ratchet to give me extra leverage. Once those nuts are off, then remove the bolts securing the y-pipe to the tranny case and VOILA!

Go in from the top, You'll see the connector right next to the two lines leading to the PS cooler.

Trust me, that's a very normal feeling. But if you're under it there is room enough to drop the pipe. It's just more difficult than if it were on a lift. How's the work coming? Keep us posted.
