REAR Sway Bar Clanking? HELP

wondering if the rear sway bar bushings are bad enough that the sway bar will actually make a clanking sound when going over bumps.

I had a similar noise but the bracket had rusted out and the bar was hanging out.

Did you check the sway bar end links?

Mine made that sound and it was a broken end link, which is very common.

Rear Swaybar Clunk

That is most likely both of your rear sway bar bushings needs replacement. If you are going to replace the bushings, you might as well replace the rear end links also...if they have not been replaced for a long time. I had the rear clunk before and after replacing the bushings....the rear is now quiet as it can be. Your local auto parts store carry bushings and endlinks for the SHO. Good Luck.
