Chris your going to have to run SARC struts if your car has SARC.

Unless you mean to pull the fuse and just run them in full hard mode :bonk:

no I meant is there any benefit to getting alternate struts to mate with the lowering springs. my fronts are yr old SARCS, the rears I think are beginning to show they are on their last legs. I am not attached to having SARC , and have zero lowering experience. I don't have any idea about what the different setups would ride like.

Back to the sagging issue, has anyone done the v8sho.com lowering. Because mine is pretty noticable too, and i think im just going to drop the front. I think it 5/8ths, not much but its free and it wouldnt hurt. or would it?

My rear end is sagging too. I'm probably going to do the struts & mounts all around this summer. Should I do buy new springs while I'm at it? I'm not looking to lower it.

I couldn't tell you. I think it's 5/8's front and 3/4's in the back. That's kinda why I wanted the rousch springs as they would be a little newer and tighter than whats in the back now. It doesnt make noises unless I have my 300 pound buddy in the car when we carpool to class

Hey KILLA did you ever get your cams welded? I'd worry about that before you try the strut tab lowering.

And as you can see from that picture i posted before it doesnt sag like I thought it did. It was just from that angle it looked like it did.

And after looking under the car I'm excited to do the strut tab lowering mod. I just can't see much when it's on the ground. Would be nice to have a lift of my own!

I had the Eibachs on the front and OEM in the rear. The rear was also jacket up with the reverse strut mod because of tire rubbing under compression.

I put the Eibachs in the rear. Found a broken OEM spring on the passenger side. But the rubbing issue is resolved, the rear sits way lower and the rear does not bottom out. This is on new SARC struts and in hard mode.

But this along with the carbon fiber hood raised the front 1/2" or so.

Next I will cut the tabs off the front struts and drop them a little. But at this point I cannot get any more negative camber up front. The towers are already slotted....

You can run either SARCs or KYBs. I run KYBs all around with H&Rs in the front and the stock HH springs in the rear. My Sable has a little bit of a rake to it, but at least the rear isn't sagging. I plan on putting new springs in the rear something this summer to make sure that the rear doesn't sag. To make sure I'm able to adjust the camber properly, I'm also going to install the GTP control arms.

Ian, you might as well buy new springs. You can get the Eibachs for like $240, but if you're not looking to lower it, you can get the RAN and JAR springs from Torrie at fastpartsnetwork for about $50/spring. It is worth it to spend the extra $200, especially if you can do all the work yourself.
