no tuning, stock injectors (for now), just a fuel management unit. 2 1/2 in. custom y-pipe. T-3 turbocharger(Garrett), and 2 1/2 in. turbo piping-to intake. Large front mounted intercooler (custom made off a semi truck). And the pipe on the intake manifold was custom made. Three inch exhaust piping is in the works right now.

Right now we are also building a 91' sho with a t3/t4 garrett turbo. That should be done in the upcoming weeks.

(we are looking for 30lb. injectors from a thunderbird supercoupe--if anyone knows of any).

A few other questions...is there a wastegate installed and is the intercooler the tube attached to upper intake?

Where is the MAF? Which one are you using? Why was the crossover tube replaced with a plenum?

This setup uses both front and rear banks, right?

Cool! :thumb:

why such tiny turbos? a t4 or 14/60-1 is usually perfectly sized for 3.0 motors. whats the trim on it, and compressor and turbine a/r's? Actually i think that i found my answer to the first question. Its just a budget turbo kit...how much did it cost you? Is that stainless steel piping you used for the charge pipe?

ATR is Arrow Truck Repair (our diesle repair shop name). The MAF is mounted right in front of the turbo. The wastegate is installed, and yes the front pipe is the intercooler pipe. We will be in winston salem for the meet the 25th. This is not a bought turbo kit. All of it is fabricated by me. (Paul) the T-3 turbo came off a nissan that we already had here, so we used the turbo off of it. It is very fast. And the turbo really isn't to small, as long as you know how to get all the power out of it.

t3's are usually used for smaller engines. Im not turbo expert but have been doing a lot of research to turbocharge my own car, and if it came off of a nissan i can bet your pushing it to the limits of its effenciency. After some research it is only good to about 320 crank hp. Either way good job on fabin your own kit.
