Tonight blew!

My times were off by a few tenths. It was hot tonight, and the car just never recovered from the 50 mile drive to the track.

There were some cool machines to gawk at, including a couple of quick GTP's.

My faveorite had to be the older ( 87-93 body ) Saleen that ran a 10.01, the front came off the ground by at least 3 feet, very cool.

I was shocked to see a MK IV Supra pull mid 14's, and a new Z06 could only best a mid 13.

I guess I wasn't the only one affected tonight.

I did learn one thing, my car runs quicker with the stock air box and panel filter than with the cone, so until a better cold air system is designed, I'll be sticking with the panel.

What did you run? Run again late September and early October when the track temps are cooler. You may drop a tenth or two off of your time.

I'm going to do my best to make the Fall Run. I can't wait for the drags by the damn! Woohoo!!

I ran 4 times, by best was a 15.73, and worst a 15.87

Back in April or May ( can't remember ) when I ran last time I was in the 15.5's.

I know this thing can break into the low 15's, But as I said, I'm happy I was able to see a difference between the cone and airbox. By some act of God I get these pulleys installed, I'm hoping for a change there as well, lastly, I want to slap flowmasters on it and remove the 3rd cat.
