Rare dark blue on a 92?

I am now the proud owner of a 1992 Dark Blue SHO. The person I bought this car from said this color is very rare. It is a dark, almost purplish blue, kinda like Rusty Wallace's Taurus (if you're into that.) It is the original color, the car has the factory paint on it. Can someone shed some light on this or show me where to get this information? Thanks!!

From what I remember...blue is a blue 92 is pretty rare. Not as rare as those GREEN ones though SHOTIME has 92 blue sho...I think he knew the numbers for how many were produced.

There was 818 Blue SHOs produced in 92.

Ford doesn't have a count for the Red ones produced that year ...... So mine is even more rare. thumbs_u Not to mention the fastest .

Hey I have 1992 Taurus SHO MTX Blue and I knew it was rare but not that rare. Only 818 made and I am sure a lot are totalled or what not. Makes me feel good.

I belive SHOtime found that #. We are still tring to find out how many Reds there were. No one has a exact figure.

how about me, i have a red 92 sho that ford cklaims id didnt make them in 92 and a royal blue 92 that ford only made 818 of them, talk about luck.
