raising the idle will make a difference.. stock idle on a 3.2 oil pump sees about 13.5 psi on a fresh motor... worn might be more around 12 ish... now the more oil pressure the less wear is the normal way to see things.. after all these motors have a problem with factory rod bearings so i always like raised idle... also i got UDP so it makes a difference haha
also you can turn the screw enough on a stock setup to get the idle to get higher.. the iac will be about totally closed trying to make up for the increased air flow.
