I am about to order some Monroe Quick Struts for my 1994 ATX. I have that saggy rear end going on, and well at 180K things are shot.

I probably going to get them from Rock Auto. What other parts should I order to replace things that I can get get to easily while I am there?

Thanks in advance:)

quick struts are pretty complete, but they don't come with new pinch bolts which are at least nice to have.

Probably would be good to do strut rod bushings too, unless you have done that recently.

Just a little thing to think about: I put quick strut on my '90 and they are crap; WAY too soft. They might be fine on grandmothers '93 GL but they are no good on an SHO.

!!!

Yes, don't get the quick strut, at least not monroes. I bought gabriel quick struts from autozone for my 92 mtx and i don't care what anybody says they are better then the monroes....much stiffer. I would reassemble old strut with new springs/mounts/struts. I don't even drive my 95 (with monroe quick struts in back) anymore---i am going to return them.
