Questions on Accelerator cable

I need an accelerator cable for my 1993 SHO MTX. The dealer doesn't make them anymore, and if they did i probrably wouldn't buy it, for the price they told me. ($115) My question is...would an accelerator cable from any other Taurus fit? Does an ATX accelerator cable differ one for a MTX? Would a non-SHO cable fit? What years would fit? Or do i have to find a 93 SHO accelerator cable to fit?

I would think that any MTX SHO cable would work fine. I suspect that the ATX would work fine also, but I am not positive.

If nothing works, rig it up! Ain't nothing wrong with pulling a string that's coming through your window! Gotta love the SHO!

Seriously though, I'm sure someone has a spare one on a parts car, just post a WTB.
