I've got most all of my TPR bushings figured out where they go, but I've never dealt with this front arm before. Where do the bushings pictured go in reference to the following pics? First off the red circle I know what goes there, but the blue circle I don't know what these or called, nor do I think I have them. Any clue what that bushing is called? Secondly the yellow circle I believe is the V6 TPR front tension strut to lower control arm bushings and the blue tpr in the second pic replace them yes? If so how do you get that bushing out since it is in like a metal sleeve. Finally the green circle is the ball joint? Is that something I should replace while the arm is out? The rubber boot that went around it is torn and it doesn't like to mover around very well. Thanks for the help and as for the bushings not included in the group buy should I just buy OEM ones from a local parts place? 1044857123209 full shot

Okay, to answer your Q's:

Swap the yellow circle with the plug and that's the tension strut to lower control arm.

The balljoint is a one piece design with the control arm. To replace the ball joint means you need to replace the entire arm...

I honestly do not believe there's a replacement for the yellow circle, since there is a steel collar in there along with other pieces making it hard to replace. If there is though, it'd be the lowere control arm to subframe bushings.

Good Luck!!!

Moog carries them. Part number K8622. If they were in your GB purchase, let us know how easy or how hard they are to install.

The joint in the blue circle is the tension strut to arm bushing, should be K8613.

The joint in the red circle is the tension-strut-to-frame joint. Should be K8516.

FWIW, I made a really nice discovery at O'Reilley's last weeek. I went in to pick up a set of the Moog rear SWB end links, Moog # K3124 for around $16-17 each. They guy at the counter said they also had a "store" brand with the same base part number. On opening the boxes, both were the exact same item made by Moog! The store branded links were under $9 each and were the ones with the blue TPR bushings with the exact same part number on the white tag inside the bag as the Moog branded links. These are also easier to install than the TRW endlinks, # 18145HD, as they only have threads at the bottom of the link. The TWRs have threads on both ends (makes that upper one a PITA to fasten, have red poly bushings, and look to be heavy duty enough to last the life of the car.

My car is riding on them now. :)
