problems w/ the new HU after break in

well the thiefs sashed the harness for the speakers to the amp so when me and my friend installed it we had to cut the smashed one off and splice the wires to the speaker out wires (we got them right)

now NONE of the speakers get any bass at all

any ideas?

Have you tested the speakers individually? If there out of phase the bass will be almost non-existant. Also were you running the stock subwoofer? If so you may have bypassed it completly.

I would check that out if they are out of phase. Just change the polarity on one side and check if that fixes it.

we tested one and the bass was fine

i'm not the car audio person so i'm gonna have my friend who is read this tread after

the stock amp isnt getting any power for some reason so we had to use the by pass harness

If one speaker has the oppsite polarity of the one on the other side it will cancle out the bass and any sound for that matter. What I am saying switch the polarity for one side then see how it sounds. Also you might want to check the settings on the HU and make sure that they are set correctly.
