I have been leaking power steering fluid for a couple weeks now, finally had time to diagnose what the issue is.
Been filling it with ATF...which calms everything down....but still leaking.
It seems to be leaking out of the top of the power steering pressue (PSP) valve. When I unplug the sensor & wipe everything clean, & start the car....it "weeps" out of the top off the sensor. It looks like this sensor is available to purchase...anyone else have this issue ??
I would rather replace just the sensor than the entire rack.....any thoughts would be appreciated.
If it is best to replace the rack, I have a spare one in my '97 parts car...if that would be adviseable...parts car fas 177K.
RockAoto has refurbished ones for approx $180.
