Ok I bought an 1990 Sho about three days ago for 500$ and a beaten bronco II. But the car isn't running that good. I used to have a 1994 mtx and my 90 raps up about half as fast as 94. I think the timing is off, plus the ticking noise that sounds like its coming from crank. I would like to get her up and runnin. So any imput would be appreciated

You will most likely need to do a complete maintenance overhaul to get it back to good condition. A full 60k on top and in front and replace the rod bearings. This can be done with the engine still in the car by dropping the oil pan.

when you say "raps up" do you mean "going through the rpm band"? If so, check your exhaust. Mine was like that (it even dyno'd at 99 max HP eek! )I had a huge restriction in the exhaust pipe (came from my cat). If you think this is a possibility, Midas can do a quick backpressure check for around $20.
