Performance Chip

I'm interested in adding a chip to my 98 SHO. Can anybody give me some insite on this. I want to know the following: First and fore most, is it worth it? Will I feel and see that much of a difference? Who makes the best chip for the 98 SHO? Any disadvantages? Can I go back to the original chip without any problems? Any info would be great. Thanks!
