The title says it all. The intermediate shaft has circlip which has deformed and is preventing me from re-installing the axle. Finding just a circlip has not proven easy.

In searching the forum I see that if the driver side circlip is not installed the axle may pull out a bit causing the tranny to leak.

This can't happen on the passenger side since the intermidiate goes into the tranny and can't move. Also it takes a minimal amount of force to remove the axle from the intermediate shaft so the circlip doesn't seem to do much of anything.

No idea Tony, but if you want, I'm sure I have an extra circlip floating around on my parts shelf. It's from the driver's side axle, but maybe it's the same? I'll go look now...

they put them in at the factory to hold the axels in during assembly, if you leave it out, just make sure that the axel is in all the way when putting it back together...

ive done it, and i too have no problems, on either side.

You might be able to source them through Raxles. My set came with new circlips so they can definitely get them.
