The power lock button and key are of no help. I can't get the door open. The things I know are:

- Turning the key in the door lock feels disconnected when turned CCW.
The key will barely turn CW.
- If I hold my finger over the ****, while depressing the lock/unlock button,
I can feel it move very slightly up and down.
- The inside and outside door handles have resistance and will not move.

Is it possible to remove the door panel with the door closed? Any help is appreciated.

open the door from the inside...will the lock pop up?

I tried to open it from the inside, the lock won't even try to pop up.

I found that the door panel is removable with the door shut.

I still can't get the door open, it's beyond my ability to fix. Should I try calling some mechanics, or a bodyshop, etc.???

this is likely do to your lock actuator. My passanger door doesn't have a power lock actuator for the same reason.

I see you have gotten the panel off. Now try and disconnect the actuator and the latch should pop open.
