So I have this new parts car...
It runs/drives great But I'm either going to park it out or use the vehicle this winter.

I just pulled up one code for the car

621- which is the shift solenoid 1 in the trans...

My question is how long will the trans last with a bad solenoid, I just want the damn thing to take me through winter and I'm not asking it to do anything else for me haha. If you gun it, the car will shift hard but if your easy, on it you wouldn't know theres anything wrong with the car.

btw FULL black interior which is mint haha

personally I would drive it 'till it breaks... If it isn't noticable then who cares. If you don't have the money you really have no other option right? After all it is a parts car.....

Yeah good point, I do have the money for another car but I'm just cheap like that I try to get the most out of everything.

I may be wrong, but I thinking it isn't that big of a deal to change the shift solenoid, and it costs ~$50?? If that's all it takes to keep from wrecking the TX, I'd just fix it....

Dont I just pull off the pan and its right there on the vavle body or do I have to remove the valve body?
