I need some serious help. I am getting confused and cant get my car back to running normal stock even. I know number 4 was misfiring. New plugs 1 step colder. I had bought new coils but when I put them on the car ran bad. So went back to stock coils. Also been switching MAP sensors back and forth. Bought a new 2 bar and a new 3 bar for my 5 star and for my GH tunes. Now the car regardless of tune runs like crap and blinks engine light till it just stays on. I am back to stock tune and stock coils, no joy still. HELP!!

Also, what are the part numbers for stock sensor and 3 bar? I think I am messed up by which one I should have on now (stock 2 bar for stock tune)

Difficult to tell from your picture, but the MAP sensor you change for a tune is the one on top of the engine under the cover.

Ford OEM replacement parts generally have the letter "Z" as the 4th digit in the part number. An "A" in this position would indicate a part that was originally installed at the assembly plant.

So through all that I started getting a check engine for misfire in cylinder 4. NOTHING worked getting rid of it. Took it to shop, they are hinting now it may need an engine. I will find out more. Anyone else have a similar issue, misfire to needing engine?

I have always said - the answers are here - @Texas Marauder is providing the home based trouble shooting that needs to answer that question. I would get a detailed explanation that leads them to believe an engine replacement?

If it's not the coil or injector, it will be a valve train issue on #4. They'll likely do a power balance test and then pull the valve cover to inspect. Maybe a follower is toast.
