Started yesterday, all gears still work fine, about 1k rpm drop when overdrive engages. I've searched for this problem on this forum and others with no luck. Any SHO experts out there with any experience with this problem? I'm trying to nurse this through till late Summer when I can afford to get it to Doug Lewis.

Does the Torque converter engage? I'd take it in to a reputable shop, your ATX is obviously trying to tell you something important. Good luck.

YES!

Kirk Doucette had the same problem with his Tq Convertor on the way back from Carlisle last week. He mentioned in an email to the V8 SHO list last night those conditions with the flashing OD light. I'd get that puppy in ASAP, or at least check to see if you've got any codes stored.

Cleared all the codes today and took it for a drive of about 10 miles. Ran the code reader when I got home and came up with several codes but...the overdrive light never did come on again. The codes I got were (332) EGR valve opening not detected, (536) Boo circuit failure. (538) operator error, guess I'll have to read the book again and see what I missed, and (511) EEC processor rom test failure, which I assume is caused from the LPM. Any help on what or where I should look for to solve these codes would be very helpful to me as my manual for the car hasn't arrived yet. Also, I do believe the torque converter is engaging fully as I can definately feel it shift, along with the rpm's dropping as it does so, even with the cruise control on and engaging the overdrive I can feel it along with watching the rpm's drop accordingly. Sorry for so long of a post but I really like this car and want to try to make it right as much as I can as I haven't found any knowledgeable sho mech's in the area as of yet. Thanks folks
