Does anyone have any part numbers from Napa, Advance, or Autozone for the two cooant hoses that go from the block to the oil cooler? One of them has sprung a leak on Andi's '99 SHO that I'm working on. If not, I'll remove them and attempt to match them up when I get off work tomorrow at Napa.

I believe both of those hoses are no longer available. The hose that runs from the block to the cooler got clogged somehow on mine and busted. Spent two weeks of swapping hoses and tightning hoses before I finally got it to stop leaking. Regular bulk hose is what I wound up using I think. But I may have used one with a slight bend from napa.

There is a NAPA hose that can be cut to fit for the block to cooler. I just threw one away last week. :(

The cooler to pump can be done with bulk hose.

Where did ya get the bulk hose from and what size did ya use? Or if you have the Napa part number would be great also!!

Paul, I just sent ya a message on FB. lol! Any clue what vehicle or part number that hose was or the bulk hose size? I heated up some 1/2" hose with my heat gun and if I had enough room to move I could have probably made it work but it just aggravated me more.

And I thought the cooler to pump hose was same size as the cooler to block? Which is why I can't find any 9/16" bulk hose anywhere. :banghd:

The hose is a Gates 18431. Use some silicone grease on the indside of the hose it will slip on easier. I probably used 1/2".

Thanks Paul!

Thats the number I had came up with too and my Napa guy was gonna call tomorrow for me to see what they could get in. He thought they only came in 25 and 50ft lengths though. Let me follow James' lead and see what happens. ;)

I tried the 1/2 inch route. Tryed everything and couldn't get it on. The origanal size is 14mm. Which is closet to 9/16 but you won't find any of that. From what I found out that sizeheater hose doesn't exist apparently.
I believe I wound up with a two foot hose with various bends from napa that I trimmed the best section out. The hose was the next size above 9/16. I had to play with the hose clamp for a week or so before it quit leaking.
