I took my oil cooler off this spring and couldn't get the Oring back in the groove because it had swelled. I used some blue silicone and that lasted about 2 months, black might have been better. Anyways it started leaking pretty bad so I put the old Oring back in. It had shrunk enough to fit. Unnfortunately it also shrunk in thickness and it too leaked.

Ford will not sell the Oring seperately and wants $350 for a new cooler with gasket. Jerks.

I went to Motion Industries today and bought 5 Orings for $2.00. Great store and they have a good web site too. Motion Industries

Well the dam thing still leaks. I will try to tighten it a bit more. This time I went with factory specs of 35 lb/ft. When I orginally took it off it was breakerbar tight. If that doesn't stop the leak I will use some black silicone as the blue held up for a couple of months.
