Ok, if ANYONE knows whats up, I'll be VERY happy! This is a little scary to me right now... but my new SHO (93) runs excellently. But if the car is cold, and I wind it out through 5 and park it, I can notice some smoke coming out of the driver side of the hood. I lifted it to try and find where it was coming from. it was odorless, so I assumed it wasn't my clutch.. I noticed a sizzling dripping noise, and found it. it looks as if it's coming from the catalitic converters... and it seemed as if the smoke was coming from there as well.. this only happens if I drive it ******* a cold engine, I'm replacing the exhaust anyway, but I'm not completely sure if thats the whole problem though, if this makes any sense to anyone please gimme info :)

Its a bad idea to drive your sho hard when it is cold, or any car for that matter. What looks to be happening to your car is that something is leaking onto the exhaust pipes and burning off. It may be your waterpump leaking onto the cats. It may also be oil coming from the valve covers or another area. Best thing to do is check under your car for leaks and get them replaced.

Look carefully under the throttle body and at the heater hoses between the driver's side rear of the engine and the firewall. You are looking for a coolant leak that is getting to the exhaust system and causing your smoke and sizzle. It is probably just a hose leak. You just have to find which one it is and replace it.
