Tony Huerta with North Texas Performance has done all the maintenance on my two SHOs for the past five years, he's always fare in his pricing and does excellent work. He's got so many certificates in aviation I don't have room to list them all. I'm lucky to have him as a friend as well. :salute:

Tony is a great guy to do business with and has always offered great prices on what he has to offer! He also goes out of his way to make sure his customers are 100% satisfied, not 99%. :thumb:

It's good to hear that Tony does more than just beat Tim in races :).

Yeah, he's going to be offering the same kind of stuff you would need to beat Tim! :corn:

For those of you SHO guys that don't live in the North East of the country (i.e. Louisana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, or there abouts) and need work done on your SHOs there is Tony Huerta (TexanTony) in Arlington/Grand Prairie, Tx. He's done fine work for many SHOforum members me included. He now is a Vortech dealer and is building several supercharged SHOs here in North Texas (DFW) area for some SHOforum members. Tony's a good guy and is very fare with his pricing. Tony also is doing powdercating now as well. For his contact info go here.

NO TYSHO, I WILL NOT GIVE YOU PARTS FOR FREE!

Like I said, I asked for dimensions on a bracket, not free parts. Just another example of you and your made up stories. :shakehead

I suggest everyone meet Tony at the convention and you will see what kind of guy he is.

Brian you should just move on.

Talking and meeting with people to have a friendly conversation is different than doing business. Anyone who runs a business can tell you that.

I have moved on, I have every right to post my experience and not have it deleted. And I am not one to keep business dealings non-public. If I have a good one, I post. If I have a bad one, I post. That's just how it is and everyone deserves to know who they're dealing with before hand. :salute:

Tysho, you know what? Sometimes things don't go like you planned. Tony might have been able to sell the brackets for $100 less, but that was BEFORE he had them made. Then it turns out they cost more so there's a price increase. Nobody is in bussiness to loose money. If they are they will not be around very long. So if the brackets are too expensive for ya, it's a free country, go buy them from somebody else.

You made a lot of great offers, I don't know why Tony wouldn't want to do all the research, test, fitting, not to mention funding the whole project himself and then not give his design away to the first person that offers to mass produce them for him for cheap. Boy, that Tony guy must be silly.

All it takes is to hand the bracket to the machinist, you don't do research!

His design? Was he the one making them for SHOShop?

And an FYI, those brackets are pretty basic and as easy to make as aluminum subframe bushings.

Thing is, he gave me a price. You don't give prices if you have no idea. We talked about the bracket at first and I told him I was interested in making my own unless he had a good price. He jumped in and said yes with $125, so I was okay with it. The price was jacked up when I said I was coming to pick it up. I then told him I would just have my own made since it's less cost and if he was interested in some for less cost, because it's just as easy to make more than 1 at a time. He declined the offer and said he was the only one who has the brackets because SHOShop went out of business and asked if I still wanted to buy. I said no and told him I was solid with my decision to make my own bracket, then asked if I could go buy and take measurements. I was shot down right there and told nobody with a bracket will give me dimensions, just pony up the money.

There's not a problem about the bracket and being too expensive, I'm just looking for the best deals out there. If I thought things were going to be too expensive, I wouldn't be supercharging my SHO.

Was it a written quote Brain? If it wasn't a written quote then it is just your word against his Brian.

I also want everyone on or involved in this board to know that Brian (TYSHO) is the only person that has ever had a complaint about Tony of North Texas Performance, and all this over a bracket Brain wanted Tony to loan him for free so he could go out and reproduce them. Brain himself has told me many times Tony has never done any repairs for him or has Tony ever worked on any of his SHOs, so Brian (TYSHO) is in no position to have a negitive review of North Texas Performance of any kind. Of all the paying customers of NTP you won't be able to find one complaint about his repairs. Tony has a check list he runs down after he repairs a car just like the repair list he used to have when he repaired jet airliners for Delta Airlines. Also a fact that not a single plane that Tony repaired for Delta Airlines has ever had a failure of parts or service preformed by Mr. Huerta. Dåmn good record for 8 years of service if you ask me. :thumb:

I want a supercharger too. Tony said he would make me one. Just send half the money and he wold make the kit, then send the rest of the money when it's all ready to ship. Wow! That's better than the SHO Shop, they would take ALL your ******* money up front, then 9 years later your stuff would arrive.

And speaking of crappy parts delivery, I ordered a RSTB from Mr TCCA in Dec. and he said Feb. delivery. Well here I am still ******* waiting in May. I feel a roadtrip comin on.....
