don't know where you've been, but in the SHO world, the term ccrm is used about 100x as often as the term ircm. they are interchangeable terms.

depending on what you are reading, the main engine control computer may be called the pcm, the ecm, or the ecu. even the Ford documentation uses all three terms in different places, adding to the confusion.

Yeah, I haven't been on SHO Forum for many years until recently. I've forgotten some of the terms. I guess I've only had to fix easy stuff on my SHOs the past several years.

If all else fails, jumper the connector and see if it works, the highlighted part is the fuel pump resistor found on the Gen I's.

Well guys its running!!!!
It was the CCRM, got one off of Ebay and started right up.
Thanks to everyone here who had a hand in making this happen.
Its forums like this that allow some of us to take advantage of all the information that's just sitting here waiting to be tapped into, which makes it fun for someone like me who likes to buy these types of cars but doesn't have the knowledge to get them running on my own.
Thanks again!!!

PS- I will be starting a new thread, my RPM needle is on the wrong side of the little post that its supposed to rest on. So no RPM reading, anyway I will start a new post.

Hey, Glad to hear it is running...I KNEW it was the ccrm...yeah, I..thought it was anyway. It just sounded like the same stuff I had going. RPM needle??, That just means that someone revved it so fast that the tach spun around all the way, like 20k rpms...lk. Good luck, They're fun cars and this is THE best forum on the net. Great bunch of people who are always willing to help, and best of all, no one rubs it in...even when a guy (like me sometimes) is asleep at the wheel.
