Update on the no start when its hot. Last two days my daughter drove it to school, about ten minutes away from our house. Sunny days, temps in mid eighties. She parks in uncovered parking lot. Yesterday, starts up in the am. 3pm,schools out,no start. I go to school, move shifter through P,R,and N,back to Park,it starts. No other problems.Today, same schedule. but this time,I go to school, move the shifter around, nothing. Wont start, wont turn over, nada. A buddy had a theory it was an ungrounded starter relay,so he soldered a wire with clamp onto the grnd terminal of the relay, then bent the terminal flat so it would plug in the fuse box.The clamp goes to the neg battery terminal. I tried this today, the motor turns over, but will not start. I'm going back tonight after its had a chance to cool off, this is when it usually will restart. Could it possibly have a problem in the Antitheft unit? Any ideas, this is a real problem. The car has 118K on it and has been in two accidents,I bought it with a salvage title.

An update to the update. I went up to school where the car is,started right up and drove home with no problem.
