Newbie from Nebraska

I've been lurking for a short time, but now have a good reason to post since I got a 2010 SHO last week

Just wanted to say hey and look forward to being around and maybe modding my SHO eventually (gotta love factory warranty)

No seriously, he's a friend of mine. Went to school with him, worked with him for a short time. A pretty good guy in my book.

Are you the guy he texted me about the other night who wants to run their modded SHO against a new SHO?

Oh yeah, I'm still around.

And I did - definitely not cool. He lives between Blair and Omaha (you probably knew that) and I'm in Blair, probably about 12-15 miles apart. We just had pea sized hail that only lasted a few minutes and didn't do any damage.

And no worries, I don't plan to follow suit on that. I've got other things I could put the $200 to.. like a Livernois tune or exhaust

Yeah, I normally like thunderstorms but when you get wind, hail, and tornadoes - I start to dislike them very quickly.

And yeah, I did notice a little bit of attitude there though I didn't read the entire thread since I had little interest in those.

Not sure if you have looked outside of Omaha or not (I assume you are speaking of the Ecoboost SHO) but there are a ton in the Kansas City area. Check out Thoroughbred Ford in Zona Rosa (Kansas City, MO). They are the biggest dealership in the KC metro and they always have the cool Fords for sale. For a while, they were the only authorized Roush/SVT dealer in the city.

Where did you get yours? Not a lot of new SHO's around here to pick from really.

I picked mine up outside St. Joe, MO, south a little town called Gower @ Dennis Sneed Ford. I've seen a few new ones and I think one used in the Omaha area, but the picking were very slim. KC seemed to be the best choice. Thankfully I found a dealership that was good with communication since I wasn't going to drive down on just a whim, especially with gas being $3.65/gal in a truck getting 15mpg at best.
