New Tires & Rims

I got these rims off of eBay last year for nearly $80 a pop. They are the 17" RS Limited Mase series rims. I purchased the tires from Tire Rack, 234-45-17 KUMHO Ecsta SPTs, $358 shipped. I think the rims definitely add to the SHO, white on white, which I'm sure I will have fun keeping clean all summer.

I'd also like to mention that these are the universal type rims, and the clearnce for tightening the lugnuts is extremely tight. I'm going to have to get new lugnuts, since I'm using the ones from the slicers, and I can't find a thin enough socket to torque them to my liking. I'm also thinking about dropping the front about an inch or so. The back looks great, but the front seems to sit up a little too high. Re-painting the calipers and a 96+ brake upgrade are also on the to-do list. But other than that, drivability has improved and I can feel the road more than ever now. All in all, and for the price, I'm really digging this setup. What's everyone think???

Nice. I bought the same set in white, but have no white SHO's.
I planned to repaint them then ended up getting other wheels.
Size 17 x 7", 5 lug @ 108mm and 4 lug @ 108mm. Good for Taurus, Contour, Focus ...
They're up for grabs, $300 plus shipping.

Those are nice wheels, however I think I have seen them in 18in on ebay for $249.

Any idea what it costs to ship those wheels?

Try keeping it clean in the winter I have a '91 white plus(white wheels) White wheels show more break dust too. That great looks great!

I paid $12 per wheel in their original boxs from Roanoke, VA to Hershey, PA. That was parcel post via USPS.
So I'd guess about $20 plus or minus per wheel to Toronto via USPS or UPS.
I didn't realize Toronto was just above PA. Thanks for the inquiry.

Hershey is about 2 hrs east of Pittsburgh.
Or 10 miles east of the capital, Harrisburg.
Make a day of it. Go to Hershey Park and visit Chocolate World.
You can also visit the AACA auto museum.

I've driven hours to get a much needed part(s) several times. Just last month I went to WV to get a leather interior for my Contour SE. I call it my little SHO.

i dunno if it helps you out, but i'm driving home to NJ thursday and then back to pittsburgh on saturday, i could take them back to pittsburgh if its easier? although working out the payment/trust yadda yadda would be weird.
