New SHO Front End

Kirk, have you thought about opening up the headlights and painting that chrome black, like in the '99 Taurus/SHO? I think that would look sharp - to get rid of the chrome look on the entire front end.

All in all, that grille looks spectacular! I know what I want to do when I'm finally able to comfortably afford a 2010!

What about getting rid of the chrome around the lower grill? Thought about doing the headlights like the 02?

Headlights are 1200 each. (that is what I was told) so there wont ba change in **** of me opening them up.. Im sure Ford has something in the works..

All of the new headlights with xenon lights are that expensive. My dad's S4, and my GTI are all 750+ for just the housing.

Nothing says "ricer" like tinted lights. Especially headlights, when most of us want all the light we can get out front.

Thats why I have the head light covers that I modded, so I can just pop them off when I turn the lights on. :sun:
But when the covers are on, they sure don't look rice to me

That's because they do it so much in person that it didn't even register. I saw them in the pictures, but that's a normal pose for them it didn't even phase me. :wave:

Murph, I cant stand gunmetal for some reason.. Maybe because so many people do that.. When I did the black wheels there was No one that did that in the SHO.. Now look, every other SHO has them..

But these ones are going black, a New black that I just seen I loved.. SHould look real sharp!

And the rest of the chrome will be deleted soon to, the trunk will be easy! but the side trim will be a PITA to do the right way so its lasts.

yeah Gunmetal has kinda of wore itself out.

Black would be badass with some dark ass windows.

Well in that case, Dear Ford: Do you think there's any way you could make those little side fender chrome dealies pop out and turn into cupholders? I mean, that would be awesome for parking lot tailgating and it would actually give them a use. You think you guys could work on that? Thanks.

Kirk.. in the future (like a year from now) you should have groups of people with same color and do them all at once. Like one color each week for like 2 months or so.. But then again.. The amount of work to get that grill out.. And the face they would probablly have to have you take it out and wouldn't be able to drive the car during.. Nevermind bad idea haha.. But you should have a service for it. It's a nice exterior mod that I think is a MUST!
