New IRCM & STARTER, still no start?

Before swapping out my old starter, I had a clicking noise when turning the key, now after installing a new starter I have absolutely nothing when I turn the key. My guess would be the wiring when I reinstalled, but I'm sure I bolted everything the same as before?

Has anyone had this issue with their starter?

Before the starter, I had codes that my Fuel Pump Relay was no good. I installed a new IRCM and the system checked okay, but I still had a clicking sound when I try to start.

Now, I'm wondering if it's even my starter? What other areas do you think could be the problem?

This is what I think:

If its not even trying to turn the motor over (clicking) and the starter is new like you say, it is the power cables. Follow them all the way from the battery to the starter and the frame and ensure they have good solid connections.

Agreed. I have had this problem on a couple of vehicles. After you try to start it, feel all the connections....the bad one will usually be quite hot.

How simple is it to change out the battery to starter cables? Does it require any other additional wiring, and how many connections are there besides the main terminal to starter and solenoid?
