So I am going to go and do a full exhaust system buy from SHO Source and I'm planning to go catless, but I have an option on the headers that I don't know what I should choose. I have an option to go with EGR system ports or not and I'm wondering how difficult it will be to reroute the EGR system and if I will get CELs or just how generally difficult dealing with the EGR on a '92 is.

Thanks in advance for allowing me to tap into your knowledge.

The ONLY V6 SHO's to come with a EGR system was the 93-95 ATX (Automatic cars) and California MTX (Manual) cars. You first need to confirm if your car is a California car and if it even has an EGR System.

if your car has an egr system, then you either need to plumb in the egr system in the new header setup, or you need to get a tune with the egr stuff deleted, otherwise you will have a permanent "cel" and have emission test issues if you have those tests.

Since I am one of the few who has headers on a sho v6, I'll give you some advice.
I highly recommend that you have a high temperature coating applied to them. They put off a lot of heat, and there are no heat shields in place like the stock manifolds.
I also would wrap the fan, starter, and alternator wiring harness with a high temp reflective heat wrap.
As far as the egr bung goes, get them without it unless you are a California mtx, or an atx.
When I purchased mine, I didn't have a choice. They all had the egr bung. I just welded it shut.

Welcome to the header club.
