I’m debating on buying a 2010 SHO, it’s is in fairly good condition, it’s just it has over 180,000 miles, but I was able to get the price down to $5k, I see it as a bargain but I need some advice.

For 5k if it is in good shape you can't get too hurt. But.... it is a 13 year old car with 180k

Have the turbos been replaced? If not, plan on that very soon. If so, find out what brand they put in there, because some of the cheap crap doesn't last at all. Those would be my main concerns.

Hello everyone! I’m new to the forum, my name is Harry and recently I’ve had to look into buying a new car. I really would like to get myself into a SHO. I’ve found a 2014 with about 127,000 miles on it, and I’m not sure what to think of it. I think it looks good but I guess I’m wondering I should be looking for something specific with the car? Is there anything to watch out for on that model year and that high of miles? I know these cars can run forever which is why I really want one! Thank you!

Timing chain stretch and water pump are a known issue in addition to turbocharger life, ptu (awd transfer case) failure and odds and ends electronically. If you get one you need a maintenance budget for the 'just in case'. TT and awd = more stuff to break. You have to figure that into the budget if it will be a daily driver.
