My powersteering line has a hole in it. It isn't big at all, i think what happen was i hit a bump to hard and the road scarped it. I tried to fix it but it didn't work.. Without replacing them what can i do to fix it.. or is the only way to fix them is to replace it. If I have to replace them can i go to like pepboys or autozone to get them??

Thanks,
Mike

Your lines have a problem if they can make contact with the ground, if they are properly in place their is no way that can happen. Yes, you must replace it in order to stop the leak. The hoses are readily available at autoparts stores..all of them except the big one from the resivour to the pump.

Ok i know that most of you guys will disaprove, but how realistly had is it to bypass the PS cooler?? I was just gona cut the lines alot shorter and just run a fitting that connects the 2 lines, just for a few days till i can get the lines, and the time to fix them. I did this once before, when i was waited for a new PS cooler. It seemed to work fine. I didn't even think most cars had PS coolers?? So how bad is it really to do that.

If you are talkin for a few days it won't cause any problems. Just make sure that the lines arn't resting on anything hot when you bypass them, because they will melt through and that will be an even larger problem.
