need some help from fellow Okies

Back in july I bought my 91. august comes around and I get hit by a lady who ran a red light with no insurance. long story short I had to get a whole new front core support. So I finally found one and had a local body shop put it on for me. While waiting to get this put on, my car sat outside the body shop for a whole week with no hood. I got it home, put the new rad on and some other parts, filled it up with fluid, and all she does is crank. I checked and have spark at the coil, and I have plenty of fuel pressure. I just cant figure this out. I'm thinking even though it didn't rain, with the car sitting overnight and in the sun that the DIS might have caught moisture at one point in time and usually, I would just replace it with a spare, but I have yet to see another 89-91 sitting at pull a part so I have no spare parts. I was hoping since you guys live much closer to me than the others in the forum you might be able to give me some input because I cannot figure this out. Sorry for such a long post

You said you got hit--have you checked the inertia switch (the one that cuts off the fuel pump in the event of a collision)? I don't recall where it is on the SHO, but it should be in the Owner's Manual. If you don't have the manual, try looking for a finger hole in the driver's side kick panel or behind the trunk liner (driver's side, maybe?); there should be a reset button/switch behind one of those.

The button is in the driver side rear fender well. Its behind the carpet. it should be pushed down.
But he said he had good Fuel pressure, so im doubting that's it.

I'd say it's time to pull codes first. Can do it with a paperclip or an OBD1 scanner. Then play parts roulette.

Something got pulled or replaced during the core support replace. Did the car run at any time after the accident?

Yeah my inertia switch is pushed down so thats not a problem. I tried to pull codes by using the paperclip method but I got nothing. Now before this wreck I had did run the codes once and The fan cycled and everything but now it dosent do anything when I try to check codes. And yeah, the car ran before I took it in. Thats why Im thinking that maybe it sitting outside with no covering caused a problem, or they squished something when they put the support back on. Or could it be the CCRM or that little black box right next to it?

Does it have aftermarket plug wires that could have allowed water to pool in the plug wells? When you say it has spark at the coil, do you mean you're reading the correct voltages going into the coil?
