Need recommendations for performance suspension

I got 2015 Ford Taurus police interceptor ecoboost. I’m going to put work on the engine and gonna have more power probably gonna be looking to be at the 500-550 range and I don’t want todo it without having a really good handling on the car. So I’m wondering what will be a really good suspension to change from the stock one i got

H&R’s make a big difference in body roll. But, it’s a boat so turn in still *****. Whiteline also makes a rear sway bar. Haven’t heard much feedback about it though.

I started out with the H&R's myself many years ago. They were a great improvement over the stock set up. Particularly on my 2010.

I since upgraded to 32 way adjustable set of coilovers from Megan Racing (since discontinued) on my SHO.

I believe they still offer a 15 way adjustable set to current day.

Add in some adjustable end links, and that helps even further.

I too have the upgraded rear sway bar from Whiteline, however my (what seems to be) never ending rebuild still has my SHO down and out of commission for the time being, so that sway bar has yet to be installed.

Finally, don't get frustrated when you search for SHO parts and come up empty handed. For whatever reasons, add the FLEX to your search criteria (as that all fits the SHO's stuff) and WALLAH! Parts availability appears!

I'm not yet a guru of all things SHO, although my bank account might say otherwise. I've got the H&R lowering springs, liked the stock struts and went with the Wilwood big brake kit from TCE. I'm going to upgrade the sway bars but was planning to start cheap. I read somewhere that for the 2013 Taurus, Ford slimmed the front and back sway bars because drivers at that time requested more roll. So, I'll search the junk yards for the sway bars off a 2012. To the gurus out there, correct me if I'm on the wrong track... before I take the car apart again.

Suspension on interceptor is unique and falls under heavy duty. You sit higher in the front and the b u t t sits up higher than Sho or standard Taurus. Sway bars are thicker too. My interceptor I left the suspension alone and kept it OEM when I changed out all of it for new parts. Not a bad ride. Less roll , only downside is with Its backside in the air its a pain sometimes seeing what's behind you. To level car in back you not only have to change struts but springs also.

So you saying I should just change the struts and springs? I want to get the car to handle much better then it is now cuz more power means ima need the beast to be able to grip the road not just fly straight I love street racing been doing it my whole life but I always had expensive cars and never done any work to any of them. With this one I can feel it’s not the same and I’m willing to make it because I drive it as my everyday and I can’t drive a lot without some fun

Sway bars in my opinion I would leave alone, just check their links and bushings on frame. But to get her to squat, have to change out front coil overs with SHO OEM to get her down, and like I mentioned, the back unfortunately you will have to change struts and springs to get her level. Don't forget too that your toe links in the back might be under recall, mine were replaced under recall just two months ago.
