Nav conversion

Has anyone ever installed a navigation unit in place of the standard unit?

What year is your SHO? 10-12, MFT 13-15, or Sync 3 16+?

Unfortunately on the 10-12 cars it's a pretty involved process. Easier to go with an aftermarket touch screen unit with navigation and a Spectre console replacement to retain factory functions.

I have a 2015 (sync 2) SHO. I found a 2016 taurus limited screen and apm module and took my dash apart and installed it. i had the apm module reprogrammed to my vin and now i have sync 3 and android auto. There are a ton of video and information on how to do it and what parts are needed on youtube and internets....GOOGLE IT!
