You need to inspect the lines, calipers, and master cylinder area. You are sure to find the leak if you look in those areas. I would imagine it is probably a line or a caliper. Take off the wheels and have a look.

Also there is a chance that its going in the booster and being sucking in the vac line and burnt in the engine. Pull the vac line for the brake booster and check in there also.

Being you have a 90 SHO and are in the same area that I got my 90 from, Check the lines running from the Master cylinder to the ABS module. There is an octopus of lines there and a little black junction box attached to the unibody down low. See if you have any leaks there. Mine was very rusty and the line had a pin hole leak. total cost to fix: 10.00 after I pulled a similar octopus of lines from a junker.

My plus had a leak just before the real load sensing valve.

Thanks for the input. I was thinking there might be a leak somewhere. I can't remeber if I said this in an earlier post, but my ABS is non-functional. Also, I noticed a ticking sound coming from the left rear area, consistant with vehicle speed. Maybe that has something to do with the disappering fluid. Any more suggeswtions guys?

The abs is most commonly non fuctional because of wheel sensor reading You might check power to the system if it dos'nt work on 4 wheels. 1 bad wheel sensor will disable the system.

Well, I did a little inspection, the left rear wheel well and nearby things are wet all over, so there is a leak somewhere, the rubber hose? Maybe, what do you guys think?

Well, it could be the metal line, the hose, or the caliper. I would take off the wheel and have somebody else pump the brakes while you are sitting there watching that wheel well - and I would imagine it should be rather apparent where the leak is.

FYI - brake fluid eats paint in a short amount of time.

Well, I finally jacked up the car a few weeks ago, spun the wheel then hit the brakes...that wheel keeps moving! the lines and pads look fine, looks like the caliper is bad. Ballpark area, how much would it cost to replace the caliper, and should I do the other side as well?

not expensive at all. Caliper is like 60 bucks or less at napa. you can just change one caliper if the other one is fine. I still think you have a leak though, that would keep the caliper from closing as well, but you would really see alot of fluid.

Funny thing is I couldn't get that wheel off, I just jacked the car up and felt around. the wheel makes a clicking sound when turning. I just called 2 shops, one want's $190 the other $240.
