On my way to Sky Harbor Airport, I popped by Dooleyville to say hi and pick up some stuff and drop off other stuff. First time I ever saw Dooleyville in the dark....pretty scary if you ask me.

Anyways, I had to book to the airport and pick up some guests, so I get the directions from Tommy Boy and off I go.

Well, the drivers in Phoenix are a unique bunch from the ultra fast to the dangerously slow. I was trucking thru the construction zones and started following this nice Black H2 who was in the aforementioned category. Thing is, with his tall clearance, he can hit bumps and crests at 55 in a 35, I cannot, so I let him go speeding along, I figured I could follow him from a distance and he will part the sea of cars for me, but in doing so it might only get me in trouble as I ride his wake from afar thru speed traps.

Inspite of his aggressive driving, he gets caught at a red light up ahead at the 101. I figure I need to give this guy some room and give up on the following idea and drive in the more conservative right lane.

All of the sudden this Sentra comes out of no where and rear ends this hummer (IN THE SPOT I HAD JUST LEFT   ). Well, Hummer guy's beefy reese hitch had a cracked hitch cover (that will set him back at least 10 bucks), Sentra guy didnt fair too well....looked like he was gonna be buying a new radiator not to mention the other damage. IT would have creamed the SHO.

I was glad not to get mixed up in it all because my guests were waiting.

All and all I arrived home ok. Thanks for the great directions Tom.....next time dont leave out the part about staying away from the Hummers.

Mike, Glad to hear you are safe and did not get an *** full of that Sentra. That really would have sucked. Phoenix drivers are a fun bunch, you'll see some crazy things out there. Luckily, thats where I leaned to drive, so I have done well with them. In general, stay away from the women drivers(no offense to anyone, but it is true).

Take care buddy!

Damn Mike, that was a stroke of luck that you decided to change lanes. Glad it wasn't you on the receiving end of that Sentra's mistake. But I would have come and got you with the trailer, I've always wanted a white 1st gen with a popo grill.

And thanks for the nice deep socket set, you didn't have to do that. Thanks again.

The way I see it Tom, if I'm gonna do work on my ride at your place, I need to make sure you have the tools I require to get the job done. :thumbs_u:

Besides, I appreciate the hard work you put in on those SFC's
